Clubs & Associations

Student clubs and associations are an integral part of undergraduate life and the clubs providing support to current students within the Faculty are:

Ag Club

The Ag Club has a student common room located in the heart of the Faculty for all students to relax, gossip, drink coffee or buy tickets for shows. You can also become a true member of "Team Ag" with any of the T-shirts, caps, jumpers, stubby-holders or stickers on offer. Most students recognise the great service provided by the Ag Club and almost 70% of students in the Faculty are members - we hope you will join too.  We look forward to meeting you on Host Day when you will begin intensive training for the Ag student lifestyle!

Geology Club

If you do geology (or know someone who does) we want you! A great way to meet other students and staff in the Department. Our functions are not to be missed, Beer and Bourbons ball, inter-year footy, careers nights, and the end of year publication "hiatus" are just some of the events on offer for anyone interested in the minerals/mining industry.

Zoology Club

The Zoology Club is the student social and support centre of the Zoology Department. As part of this we provide common room facilities, social events and integration of the year groups. We represent all Zoology Students, including Marine Biology, Environmental Science, double majors and people just taking Zoology because they love it. We orgainse the Zoology Department "Live Animal" BBQ's, Sundowners and other social activities. We also supply a student support base for anybody studying Zoology or Biology, and a link between the staff and students in the Zoology departments.

Staff Student Consultative Group

This is a Faculty consultative committee which deals with the issues of degree restructuring, integration with the BSc students and assessment and workload.
