You can undertake a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in any area of science. A PhD is a program of independent, supervised research that is assessed solely on the basis of a thesis that is examined externally.
A PhD thesis must be a substantial and original contribution to scholarship, demonstrating mastery of the subject of interest as well as an advance in that field of knowledge.
More information is available on the Future Students website.
You can also choose to undertake a Master of Science by thesis and coursework.
