BSc Agriculture (1st cl Hons)
Area Manager
Cooperative Bulk Handling
Geraldton

At the beginning of my studies I was very interested in animal science and production.

However, I became more interested in cropping and grain marketing and gained a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with First Class Honors

Joining the graduate program at CBH (Cooperative Bulk Handling), I was exposed to all aspects of the business.

I have worked throughout the WheatbeIt and am now an area manager in Geraldton, undertaking a variety of roles including supervision, quality control, safety, logistics, strategic planning and budgeting. I really enjoy working on new concepts and innovations and helping to implement these business improvements.

The agriculture degree gave me a very comprehensive understanding of agriculture and agronomic practices in Western Australia, which has proved very useful in the early stages of my career. The report and written communication skills I  learnt at university have proved invaluable.
