BSc Earth Science
My passion for the outdoors was satisfied as I travelled between Bremer Bay and Port Headland during my Earth Science degree.
The field trips were a highlight of the degree. We did everything from reef work at Rottnest Island to working underground at Darlot. The excursions helped to put the theory learned in lectures into practice.
The ability to travel and work outdoors, coupled with a love of geology inspired by my high school teachers led me to choose the degree.
I would recommend a degree in Earth Science to anyone who loves the outdoors, has an interest in the natural world and doesn’t want to work in an office.
